With the New Year comes a new resolution — soup log!! Logging the many soups of 2025 to encourage soup consumption (always a good thing) which will act as a vehicle for bread consumption (we finally have an active sourdough starter).

Those of you who know me well know that I do not typically have New Year Resolutions. Those of you who know me even better will know this was not one of the five official resolutions (I had to make up for lost time) I made for 2025. Perhaps that is why I'm actually making progress on it! And the mishearing of Soup Log as Soup Blog approximately 15 times led to this site here.

Anyway, New Year means ozoni. And a variety of other soupy dishes (are noodle dishes soups? Chicken noodle soup certainly is, but ramen does not seem to be considered a soup... Does it depend on noodle to liquid ratio, and if so, what is the tipping point?) It's never as good as mom makes it, of course, but we do what we can.
